My urologist says I've got chronic prostatitis. Says it has probably been smoldering for years. After I took antibiotics for 6 weeks without improvement, he added that antibiotics are effective only 30% of the time. Generally not a problem, sought care because of acute pain and urinary flow problem, now gone. Anyone know anything about this thing? Is this a problem for gays?
