Well, this is interesting. Although I have never lived in Russia or even been there, I know that gay life everywhere is hard. I, myself, had an easy time coming out to my paernts, co-workers, and classmates. The thing that blew me away was that everyone accepted it and just posed the question to me, "Does it really matter?" And I have to ask myself that now. Does it matter? Through the rest of my Universty years I experinced a great deal of persectution and discrimnation from my Professors and peers. And it all boiled down to that they were just scared. Scared of what, I wondered? Then I found out. They were scared of me, not because I was gay, but because I was happy! Now I wonder if that is what everyone is afraid of (homosexuals) the happiness that we have. I hope this is some of what you were looking for. And I would definitely buy a book, like you are propsing. It's a great idea. Glen
