I'm a born again Christian and I'm also a bisexual. I have also struggled with my sets of beliefs, trying to figure out whether they were contradictory. I agree that the Bible has specific condemnations against homosexuality. However, it also condemns women going through menstruation and modern society does not. I don't think the Bilbe is outdated but we must recognize the time period and the region in which certain biblical laws were written. The New Testament refutes most of these laws. On the other hand, the New Testament institutes a religion based on love towards one another. I think that "love" is a key element that most conservative "Christians" refuse to acknowledge. If a man decides to love another man or a woman decides to love another woman, is far better and more moral than if humans choose to hate each other. Therefore, I have arrived to the conclusion that Christianity and homosexuality do not necessarily contradict.
