The new Gallery design enables you to download an image
in one of two ways:
Click on the photo and wait for the cgi
(common gateway interface - a type of script that performs
a server routine) to load up the full sized pic into a new
HTML page. Click on the large image and save it to your
local disk drive (most browsers let you do this by moving the
mouse cursor over the image and pressing the right mouse
button, a menu appears, and one of the selections is something
like "Save this image as . . " which will save the image to a
spot on your hard drive that you choose).
Click on the name of the photo link (the name of the image that appears directly beneath the photo). This link goes
directly to the image, so you can choose the Netscape option
"Save this link as . . ." to save it to your disk like the
old galleries worked.
There is a row of clickable buttons that allow you to
navigate through the HTML pages of the current gallery. To
see what Gallery and Page you are currently on, look at the
text in the title area of your window. To Return to the Cafe
Gallery table of contents, choose the button link at the
bottom of the photo set. To Return to the Cafe main page,
click on the Logo in the upper right hand corner of the page.
