I think, since you know each other so well, that he's going to have a little trouble thinking of you "that way". Think about the guys you work with, or who live in your building, or on your street. After a while they're just not sexual. So, what you're telling your old friend is, really,t hat your relationship has been off-kilter for a long time. He might be angry about this, feeling betrayed over all the times (if this happened) that he showered with you, or undresseed, or too a leak beside you. I think you have to 'seduce' him, and I don't mean trick or force him into sex; I mean, let him know you're interested, then let him know you're available, then let him know you mean "right now" Pointers? I'm not sure, maybe someone else can help -- but I think eight beers and some tequila shots isn't a good idea!
